Ontiveros Curb & Landscape was started in 2002 by Katrina Ontiveros and her husband Jaime Sanchez. Katrina was born and raised in Arizona and, prior to starting Ontiveros Curb & Landscape, was a junior high science teacher. Jaime is from Jalisco, Mexico where he was raised on a ranch with his 11 siblings and was responsible for tending the corn fields and milking the cows. He has been in the U.S. since 1999 and previously was the head cook at Chipotle. Katrina and Jaime have 2 children aged 3 and 6 years who attend Desert Garden Montessori school.

Katrina calls her assistant Lea "the backbone of the business". Lea, a former special ed teacher, is from Vermont and has been with Ontiveros Curb & Landscape since July of 2005. Lea's daughter Talia is almost 2 and comes to work with Lea each day.

Ontiveros Curb & Landscape is a family-oriented company. You will often see their children with them on job sites. Their mission is to offer excellent service to each of their customers no matter what size the job.
